The Fête du Rail is an exciting event held at the “Retrotrain” site in Saint-Ghislain, celebrating the rich heritage and modern marvels of railways. This vibrant festival offers a wide array of attractions for railway enthusiasts and families alike.

Visitors can explore an impressive exhibition of historic locomotives presented by PFT, alongside displays of modern trains, showcasing the evolution of railway technology. One of the highlights is a scenic train journey along the Saint-Ghislain to Baudour line, via Tertre, with departures at 9:50 AM, 11:50 AM, and 2:50 PM from the Saint-Ghislain station.

The Fête du Rail also features the extensive Retrotrain collection, offering a nostalgic look at the history of railways. The event promises a variety of adventures and activities for all ages, including a small food court, a bar car with disco vibes, and a PFT boutique with unique railway memorabilia.
