Experience an unforgettable journey in the historic driver’s cab on the legendary Gotthard mountain line, traveling between Erstfeld and Lavorgo. From the unique vantage point of the locomotive’s cab, marvel at the spectacular bridges, breathtaking landscapes, and fascinating tunnels that define this iconic route.

This event offers a rare opportunity to ride in the cab of a historic locomotive, such as the Ae 6/6 11411 (built in 1955) or the Ce 6/8 II 14253 "Crocodile" (built in 1919), on the journey between Erstfeld and Lavorgo. For one leg of the trip, you’ll be in the front cab, and for the return, you’ll ride in a historic passenger car of the "San Gottardo Discovery Train".

Throughout the journey, you’ll be guided by an expert familiar with the line and the machines, enhancing your experience with fascinating insights. At the end of the journey, participants will receive a certificate of participation as a memento of this unique adventure.
