Thanks to the powerful diesel drive and the equipment for using the overhead line, the locomotive can flexibly respond to traction requirements at any time. In cities and metropolitan areas, the issue of environmental impact is becoming increasingly important. The Vectron Dual Mode makes a significant contribution to sustainable freight transport. DB Fernverkehr has also decided to acquire the Dual Mode in 2024 and will deploy it on several InterCity lines in the coming years.
