Model: The cars have detailed construction and are full-scale in length. The minimum radius for operation is 360 mm / 14-3/16". All cars have factory-installed interior lighting with warm white LEDs and buffer capacitors. Type ABC4ü express train passenger car, 1st/2nd/3rd class, with a pickup shoe for current pickup supplies power to the entire car consist via the factory-installed current-conducting close coupler heads. The cars must be coupled in a defined sequence for this. Type PwPost4ü baggage and mail car with current-conducting close coupler at the baggage compartment end; the mail compartment end facing the loco has a normal close coupler head for a low buffer height. All other cars are equipped with current-conducting close coupler heads. Short replacement corridor connections are included. There are imprinted train route signs and running numbers. A concertina fold shows an illustration of the complete train and the prototypical arrangement of the individual cars in the train consist. Total length over buffers approximately 103 cm / 40-1/2". The express train passenger car set 1 goes with the class 01.10 express steam locomotive with new tooling and a new boiler design, which is available as item 39105. The set can also be extended with express train passenger cars from items 42533 and 42526 to create a prototypical D 74 express train.
