About the model

H0 scale model of an E.444 first series electric locomotive of FS. Epoch IV (1970–1990) original livery with metallic trim. Features include a fully metal body, reliable mechanics with a metal chassis and gearbox, and a powerful 5-pole central motor with double cardan drive. Equipped with a 21-pin NEM 660/21MTC decoder socket for DCC and DCC Sound, with provisions for a "sugar cube" speaker. Versions "S" come with factory-installed sound decoder and speaker, featuring specific sounds for the model. The model includes accurate reproduction of FS Type 52 pantographs, motorised for controlled raising/lowering via decoder, and automatic head and tail lights with independent control for each cab. Internal lighting is provided for both cabs and the side corridor, with independent controls for cabin instrument panel illumination. Adapts for three-rail systems and features realistic bogies with varied detailing based on version and era.
