The loco can be operated with AC, DC, Märklin Digital, and DCC. The model has a built-in high-performance motor. All axles are powered. The white triple headlights with LEDs change over to red marker lights and are digitally controllable. The cab has warm-white, controllable, LED lighting. The cab doors can be opened, the cab interior details are prototypically reproduced, and the cab has a figure of an engineer. The model has metal grab irons and many other separately applied details, such as: Windshield wipers, a bell, etc., buffer beams with sprung buffers and separately applied brake lines. The loco has factory-installed, remote-control Telex couplers at the front and rear. The Telex couplers can be replaced with screw couplers (not included).
