This model pays homage to the legendary "East-West Express" train,
which for many years was a key connection on the PKP network. As a
continuation of the famous "North Express," it provided a route
from Warsaw to Western Europe, particularly to Paris, Brussels,
Ostend, Rotterdam, Hoek van Holland, and through ferries and
British railways to London.
The set also includes a miniature of directional signs, which can
be independently mounted on the car body. The mistake in the name
of the Jeumont station on the sign is a faithful reproduction of
the original sign from the Wars sleeping car known from a
video recorded in the winter of 1994 in
Zbąszynek.
