The
Märklin H0 Gauge Crocodile Locomotive Replica
is a detailed re-creation of the first prototype of the Crocodile
locomotive, initially planned in 1936 but never released to the
public. This model, known under the article number CCS 700, has
been a long-standing exhibit at the
Märklineum and was part of
Märklin's archival collection. Now, as part
of the 2024 novelty collection, this historically significant model
is being made available to all customers.

original prototype's features, including a metal pantograph,
visible slot screws, and a hook coupling, reflecting the design and
engineering standards of the era.

Construction: The chassis and superstructure are

electrical functionality, staying true to the prototype's
design.
