As with the prototype, the S499.02 is also a further development of the legendary Laminátka in the model. The locomotive body with the eye-catching fan belt, the engraving of which conveys maximum plasticity in the model, has been reproduced precisely. The engine room windows above are perfectly flush-mounted. A special feature is the framing of the front windows, which is done justice to in the 1:87 scale by separately inserted frames. Apart from its external qualities, the model is also technically impressive. Among the lighting functions, the digitally switchable undercarriage lighting with the filigree lamp lenses is particularly noteworthy. Thanks to the PluX22 interface, the analog version can be fitted with a decoder in no time at all and then also has digitally switchable lighting in the drivers' cabs and instrument panels as well as in the engine room.
