Model: The loco has an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound
functions. The locomotive has five-pole high-efficiency propulsion
with a centrally mounted flywheel. Two axles in each truck are
powered by cardan shafts. Traction tires are fitted. Triple
headlights and dual red marker lights change with the direction of
travel, will work in conventional operation and can be controlled
digitally. Headlights at no. 1 and no. 2 loco ends can be turned
off separately in digital operation. Engineer’s cab lighting
changes ends with the direction of travel, digitally controllable.
The machine room lighting can be controlled digitally.
Maintenance-free warm-white and red LEDs are used for the lighting.
A buffer capacitor to bridge short unpowered sections of track is
fitted. The DBS 54 pantographs with a type WB 15 Wanisch contact
strip can be controlled digitally. The loco body has a replicated,
raised “chrome strip.” The locomotive has separately applied
windshield wipers. It also has separately applied metal grab irons
and roof conductors. There is a locomotive engineer figure in cab
1. The loco has a prototypically designed cab rear wall. Aprons for
the display case, brake lines, sockets, and screw couplers are
included separately for installation on the model. The length over
the buffers is approximately 22.4 cm / 8-3/4". The matching “IVA
Express” passenger car sets 1 and 2 will also be available as items
43778 and 43779 exclusively for Insider Club members. A DC version
of this model is also available in the Trix H0 range as item 25030,
