Model: The model features a digital decoder and extensive sound
functions. The locomotive is equipped with a five-pole
high-efficiency propulsion system with a centrally mounted
flywheel. Two axles in each truck are powered by cardan shafts.
Traction tires are installed. Triple headlights and dual red marker
lights change with the direction of travel, operate in conventional
mode, and can be controlled digitally. Headlights at ends no. 1 and
no. 2 can be turned off separately in digital operation. The
engineer’s cab lighting changes ends with the direction of travel
and is digitally controllable. The machine room lighting can also
be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm-white and red LEDs
are used for the lighting. A buffer capacitor is included to bridge
short unpowered sections of track. The DBS 54 pantographs with a
type WB 15 Wanisch contact strip can be controlled digitally. The
loco body features a replicated, raised “chrome strip.” The
locomotive has separately applied windshield wipers. It also
includes separately applied metal grab irons and roof conductors. A
locomotive engineer figure is present in cab 1. The loco has a
prototypically designed cab rear wall. Aprons for the display case,
brake lines, sockets, and screw couplers are included separately
for installation on the model. The length over the buffers is
approximately 22.4 cm / 8-3/4".
