Novelty 2023: Variant of the Rh 1044 in the version of the ÖBB in Era IV. The characterful locomotive face of the former ÖBB parade horse was excellently captured in the model, as was the striking side section of the vehicles, which with the pronounced corrugations and the typical "portholes" certainly posed challenges to the mould construction. The resulting impression of ideal visual effect is continued in the bogies of the locomotive. Last but not least, the 1044 is technically convincing: A five-pole PIKO motor with two finely balanced flywheel masses on the shaft ensures smooth propulsion. Model railroaders who prefer digital operation benefit from the modern PluX22 interface - it allows the installation of a digital decoder in just a few steps. The nowadays obligatory light change has been realised in contemporary LED technology.
