Novelty 2022: Eurofima express train car print variant in the
design of an ÖBB 1st class car in Era IV. In the 1970s, Europe’s
railroads grew together technically without losing their
independent character. This manifested itself in the joint
procurement of modern passenger coaches. This pioneering design at
the time also enriches the PIKO assortment and supplements the IC
ʽ79 cars with the legendary Avmz 207 and the possibility of
arranging international long-distance trains. The vehicles were
precisely implemented in 1:87 scale and are characterized by
absolutely consistent shape and color. The filigree bogies can be
seen as a model of contemporary mold making, but also the precise
engravings of the roof beads are evidence of this. For varied model
railroad operation, LED interior lighting individually designed for
this car type can be retrofitted very easily. The distribution of
the prototype allows numerous variants of different railroad
administrations and thus represents a European railroad model.
Perhaps it would be time again for new pan-European railroad cars
on the big railroad as well ...
