Panorama car Bps 2511, red BEX, Pullman II of the RhB, Era VI.
For the famous Bernina Express, the Rhaetian Railway RhB built 26
panorama cars in two series. Compared to the cars previously built
for other routes, the Bernina cars have a total length that is 3.2
m shorter. Nine first-class and 17 second-class cars were created,
which are very popular with passengers. The Pullman model features
either SIG-90 bogies with replicas of the coil springs or
Stadler-SSL bogies with imitation air suspension, depending on the
prototype. Power is collected through each individual wheel, which
ensures that the standard digital decoder is reliably supplied with
voltage at all times. Additionally, there is a power pack storage
capacitor on board. This allows the standard interior lighting to
shine flicker-free even on dirty outdoor tracks. The Era VI
versions feature prototype-accurate illuminated destination
displays on the side walls.
