The DB-V60 is completely new as an ESU model!
Chassis, body, motor, transmission, slider with holder, smoke unit, lighting, digital coupling, speaker, and all details have been newly developed. The lamp inserts feature vertical engravings to match the impression of DB standard lanterns.

The conversion from AC (factory condition) to DC operation is done by removing the middle slider and switching a small toggle switch located just before the front axle.

The digitally remote-controlled electromagnetic coupling is located in a standard socket, is height-adjustable in two stages, and can be easily replaced or swapped with any coupling without soldering work thanks to a plug.

The newly designed smoke generator produces a larger steam output.

Completely new is the LokSound 5 decoder. Smooth driving characteristics and a range of useful functions and settings excite the operator. There is a "Heavy Train" function, where the acceleration and braking time are doubled, and the motor operates acoustically at a higher speed. With the "Locomotive Brake," the locomotive goes into idle and brakes a bit more strongly - if necessary, to a complete stop - regardless of the throttle setting. In shunting operations, the locomotive accelerates and decelerates more strongly than in normal operation.
