The DB-V60 is a completely new ESU model! Chassis, body, motor,
gearbox, slider with holder, smoke unit, lighting, digital
coupling, speaker, and all details have been newly developed. The
lamp inserts feature vertical engravings to match the appearance of
DB standard lanterns.
The conversion from AC (factory condition) to DC operation is done
by removing the middle slider and switching a small toggle switch
located just before the front axle.
The digitally remote-controlled electromagnetic coupling is located
in a standard socket, is height-adjustable in two stages, and can
be easily replaced or swapped with any coupling as needed, thanks
to a plug without soldering work.
The newly designed smoke generator produces a larger steam
output.
The LokSound 5 decoder is completely new. Smooth driving
characteristics and a range of useful functions and settings excite
the operator. There is a "Heavy Train" function that doubles the
acceleration and braking time, and the motor operates at a higher
speed acoustically. With the "Locomotive Brake," the locomotive
goes into idle and brakes slightly stronger - if necessary, to a
complete stop - regardless of the throttle position. In shunting
mode, the locomotive accelerates and decelerates more strongly than
in normal operation.
