Novelty 2022: The PIKO model of the class 1100 of the Dutch State Railways NS in scale 1:160 impresses with its successful mold construction with harmonious roof curves and many applied parts, such as fine insulators and pantographs, free-standing grab irons and stairs. The model has the matching lamp shape, sharply engraved bogie covers with realistic reproductions of the spring assemblies and true-to-the-original miniatures of the buffer planks. The front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, are LED technology. The PIKO motor provides excellent driving characteristics and high tractive forces. The model has a tidy circuit board with Next18 interface and is prepared for easy retrofitting of a decoder.
