Novelty 2025: Series production of the first Polish electric
freight locomotive began at Pafawag in Wroclaw in 1958. By 1971, a
total of 658 locomotives of this type had been delivered. The
machines, which were approved for a maximum speed of 100 km/h, were
designed in such a way that they could haul a 2400 tonne goods
train at 70 km/h on the level. For a long time, the ET21 could be
found on practically all electrified lines in Poland. Shape variant
