Novelty 2022: PKP SU45 variant in Era IV. The PIKO model of the class impresses with many details, including extra attached handles and walkways on the roof, reproductions of the rotor blades under fine fan grills, free-standing handle bars on the front and on the doors, and correct representations of the dampers on the precisely engraved bogies. The spacious cabs have been faithfully reproduced. Sharply engraved bogies show all elements of the original, such as spring elements and axle bearing caps. The exact paint scheme and printing authentically reproduce their prototypes. The LED front, tail and cab lights are digitally switchable with a PluX22 decoder. The locomotive is powered by a powerful motor with two precisely balanced flywheels and provides excellent driving characteristics. The models are prepared with a PluX22 interface for digital operation and an uncomplicated retrofit with a SoundDecoder with a large speaker. Closed skirts for optional replacement are included with the model.
