Novelty 2024: The PIKO model of the ST44 PKP in Era IV features a heavy die-cast zinc frame, exquisite paintwork and printing, a powerful 5-pole motor for excellent driving characteristics, traction tires, LED lighting, digitally switchable driver's cab and engine room lighting, as well as additional free-standing door handle bars and handles, detailed and sharply engraved bogies, and corresponds exactly to its chosen prototype. The built-in loudspeaker is precisely matched to the locomotive type. Thanks to the PluX22 interface, a decoder can be installed in no time. The model is also prepared for retrofitting with sound.
