Novelty 2025: The EP09 from PIKO in the PKP version in Era V. The realization of the characteristically angular prototype in the model has succeeded in the usual high quality. The smooth edges of the modern locomotive design are complemented by fine details, whereby the specific features of the chosen prototype are also reflected in the model. The PIKO Expert model is characterized by the finest engravings, plastic fan reproductions as well as a highly detailed roof design and intricately designed bogies. Thanks to the high dead weight and a perfectly coordinated drive concept, the locomotive has high tractive power, which can be further optimized by the simple installation of a digital decoder. The model is rounded off by the clean, prototypical paintwork and the elaborate printing. The model has a PuX22 interface for easy retrofitting with a decoder, and there is also sufficient space on the circuit board for the installation of a loudspeaker.
