About the model

Two-axle mineral oil tank wagon "ÖROP" of the ÖBB (ex FS), Era III.

This Rivarossi model replicates one of the ÖBB freight cars in minute detail, which were acquired from the Italian FS after World War II. The wagon was not modified but was newly labeled. The air brake was marked as "unusable." The ÖROP was at that time a chain of gas stations in the Soviet occupation zone in Austria. After the transition to ÖMV in the 1950s, the brand name changed to ELAN, and from 1990 to ÖMV or OMV. In the 1960s, the brand name MARTHA also existed.

The Rivarossi model features finely profiled and dark nickel-plated wheels, short coupling mechanisms, coupling mounts according to NEM 362, as well as many detailing parts, some made of sturdy metal.
