3-part passenger car set "Media Luna" of RENFE, Era IV
1st class 12100 + sleeping car 7100 + sleeping car T2.
One of the longest-distance express trains in Spain was the "Media
Luna," which operated between Algeciras and France. It consisted of
two branches that split in Zaragoza to reach Hendaye and Cerbere,
from where travelers could continue their journey to Paris. This
train circled Madrid and Barcelona without stopping in these
cities.
The set HE4016 consists of a blue CIWL sleeping car type T2, a
sleeping car 7100 in "Star" decoration, and a first-class car 12100
in "Star" decoration, all from Era IV.
