Burlington Northern, Diesel locomotive U25C, operating number 5619, Era III

The Burlington Northern Railroad was the successor to the Northern Lines, which merged in 1970. As such, it inherited a fleet of 30 General Electric U25C locomotives from the Northern Pacific. 5611 represents a configuration from Era II, while 5619 represents the variant from Era IIIb.
