1999

The 5x coaches are acquired from the Mittelthurgau Travel Agency (RMT) where they were registered as WGm 001 - 005.

The coaches are of the same type with one exception: the coaches in the AFS2 class are equipped with an emergency brake override system. This system allows the train driver to override the emergency braking system by releasing the brakes temporary (with a standard emergency braking system, the train will stop immediately when the brake is activated by a passenger, which can be dangerous if the train is in an unsafe location like a bridge or a tunnel).

The coaches receive a new green and white livery and are named in honour of various Nordic animals:
- TKAB 201 AFS1: Järven (wolverine);
- TKAB 202 AFS1: Räven (polar fox);
- TKAB 203 AFS2: Älgen (moose);
- TKAB 204 AFS2: Lodjuret (lynx);
- TKAB 205 AFS1: Björnen (brown bear).
