1968

9x units from this series are built in 1968 by M.A.N. for the TEE trains Rembrandt and Rhein Main services.

These very luxurious salon coaches had 48 seats in a 2+1 configuration. They were individual adjustable seats that could be turned in the direction of travel. The central passage was 580 mm wide.

They were painted in the TEE bordeaux red/ivory white colours.

- all coaches are equipped with an axle generator for the energy supply (they are removed in epoch IV)

The coaches are registered as Avümh111, numbers 18-80 114 - 122.

The "ü" from the registration, standing for "corridor between coaches", is dropped in 1977. The new registration: Apmh111.
