2013
In 2013, BLS rents TRAXX 186 electric locomotives capable to run in
Switzerland but also the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Italy,
allowing freight trains to travel between these countries without
swapping locomotives.
The following locomotives are rented:
- from railCare: 186 101, 186 104, 186 105, 186 108, 186 109
- from Lokomotion: 186 102, 186 103, 186 106, 186 251

2x additional locomotives are rented in 2015 from Ruhrtalbahn: 186
