RESICZA is the first steam locomotive built within the Southeastern Europe, at Resita (Romania), in 1872, in accordance to John Haswell's project (engine SZEKUL, brought from Vienna at Resita in 1871, type StEG 52, working as n° 1). It worked as n° 2 between 1872 and 1937. There were two other similar engines built in 1872-1873, BOGSAN and HUNGARIA, the last one being exposed at Vienna Universal Exhibition in 1873.
