In 1939, following the occupation of Poland by the German armies, several locomotives together with the treasury and part of the Polish army are evacuated to Romania. Among these locomotives, 4x Ty 23 steam locomotives. These units are registered with the Romanian Railways (CFR) as Class 150.900.
