The units required modifications for Greek service, including replacing the 3 kV DC equipment with 25 kV 50 Hz systems and installing ETCS onboard equipment. Delivery delays pushed the arrival date to early 2021, with the first unit completing control tests on 10 January 2021, arriving in Thessaloniki on 16 January 2021, ahead of schedule. By 2021, three trains had reached Greece, followed by a fourth in January 2022, and they commenced operations on the Thessaloniki-Athens route on 15 May 2022.
