The railway coaches from this series undergo modernization at the
Grivița Workshops and are delivered to
CFR Călători beginning in 2025.
These coaches are distinguished from the current Ameet 19-76 950 - 955 series primarily by their aesthetic features and interior layout. The seating model is designed in an airplane style, with seats arranged one behind the other, thereby eliminating the face-to-face seating configuration. This design results in a reduced seating capacity, decreasing from 54 to 52 seats.
On a technical level, the coaches have a maximum design speed of 160 km/h, with the potential for an operational speed of up to 200 km/h, provided that the GP200S type bogies are upgraded with magnetic pads.
