1939

These units are acquired in 1939 from MOB where they were registered AB4ü 103 - 106 "Golden Mountain Pullman Express".

Upon entering service in the Graubünden region, the coaches were re-designated as AB4ü 241 - 244 and later As 1141 - 1144. During the mid-20th century, their appearance changed several times, shifting from their original blue-and-cream to a green-and-cream scheme and eventually to the RhB's standard red-and-cream for VIP and peak services.

In 1998, a major restoration effort funded by the "Pro Salonwagen RhB" society returned the vehicles to their original Pullman luxury configuration. Today, these four original SIG-built coaches continue to operate on the RhB network as part of the "Alpine Classic Pullman Express".
