1961

BLS got the first three vans already in 1956 and purchased another 10 in 1961-63.

Length over buffers was similar with 18.4m for BLS and 18.3m for SBB D 92-33.

But BLS had the bogies further apart with 12.7m among bogie centres against 12.1m of the SBB van. This gave the van a longer end platform.

The two large doors opened 1.58m for BLS and 2.00m for SBB.
