1979

5x coaches are acquired from Internationale Apfelpfeil Organisation (IAO) where the coaches were registered as ADm101 09-42.

The coaches are initially registered as WGm 51 80 09-80 201 - 205 but later receive new Swiss registration numbers 61 85 09-80 201 - 205, followed by another change to 61 85 09-90 001 - 005.

After acquisition, the coaches receive their legendary TEE bordeaux and cream livery, flanked by a Thurgovian crest and are named Panorama.

1980s

During the 1980s, panoramic roofs were rebuilt and lowered so that cars could be used without restrictions, allowing them to travel the Swiss and European rail networks for several years.

1999

The 5x coaches are sold to the Swedish company Tågkompaniet (TKAB) where they are registered as AFS1 / AFS2 201 - 205.
