2002

In 2002, the Swiss Post (POST) acquires 10x UIC PE 26,40 m "containerized" wagons from the French Post (PTT).

2003

After some adjustment works in the BLS Bönigen workshops, the first two units, 591 & 599, go into operation at the end of August 2003.

The other units soon follow.
