1968

These units were built from 1968 onwards and represent an evolution of the previous MU coaches.

Their T2 designation ment "Touristes 2e classe" ("2nd class tourists").

The interior of these coaches was divided into 18 compartments nested on 2 levels, each compartment being equipped with either one bed (first class) or two beds (second class).

They were capable of speeds up to 160 km/h and had air-conditioning.

1973

Between 1973 and 1975, French National Railway Company (SNCF) bought 82 units. All these units were discarded between 2002 and 2008 (most of them were sold abroad).
