Units AM56 142, 144 and 149 were acquired from Belgium National Railway Company (SNCB NMBS) and registered as ALe + Le 056 numbers 142, 144 and 149.

After renovating the interior and other partial changes to the lights and electrical equipment, units enter into service in 1999.

2000

Units AM56 137, 138 and 143 were acquired from Belgium National Railway Company (SNCB NMBS) and registered as ALe + Le 056 numbers 137, 138 and 143.

Unit ALe + Le 056 138 was damaged by a fire after the acquisition and was set aside in Arezzo.
