Units AM56 129-132, 134-136, 139-141, 146, 147 and 150 were
acquired by Adriatic Sangritana Railway (FAS) in 1998.
Due to funding limitations, only 5 units were refurbished and introduced into service:
- former AM56 150 as ALe 056 401 + 402
- former AM56 140 as ALe 056 403 + 404
- former AM56 146 as ALe 056 405 + 406
- former AM56 136 as ALe 056 407 + 408
- former AM56 129 as ALe 056 409 + 410
All other units AM56 numbers 130-132, 134-135, 139, 141 and 147 are stored in a workshop along the Ferrara-Codigoro railway.
