1956

Following the European context, 3rd class coaches are changed to 2nd class, thus the new classification B, registration numbers 7801-7840.

1964

Dutch Railways (NS) decided to convert 8x 1st class units to 2nd class units. Thus coaches A 7706, 7707, 7713, 7714, 7715, 7717, 7719 and 7720 were rebuilt and put back into service as B 7851-7858.

These coaches receive UIC registration numbers:
- B 7801 - 7840 coaches receive registration numbers 51 84 29-40 101-2 through 148-3;
- B 7851 - 7858 coaches receive registration numbers 50 84 28-37 115-9 through 124-1.
