MINILAND.UA is a world of miniatures that brings together a museum, a workshop, and a model shop. It is a space created to tell the world about Ukraine through the art of miniature. We promote Ukrainian history and integrate it into the global modelling culture, broaden perspectives, inspire people, and create a genuine WOW-effect through our work.

The company was founded in 2019, and despite the 2020 pandemic and the beginning of the full-scale invasion in February 2022, we opened our miniature space in November 2022. Today, it is home to the largest railway layout in Ukraine, with a total area of 87 square metres. The layout was built by our workshop, and it features a collection of more than 100 unique models. We create railway layouts where not only the visual appearance matters, but also the authentic accuracy of operation: how train movements are organised, how infrastructure functions, and how the system responds to commands, events, and non-standard situations. This approach results in layouts that look equally amazing and convincing at an exhibition, in a museum, or even in an educational setting. Our team puts heart and soul into every millimetre of a diorama, filling it with detail to truly impress.

We pay almost obsessive attention to detail: trees, bushes, fences, road signs, and other scenic elements are handcrafted in our workshop. We also paint human and animal figures by hand, which allows our miniatures to reflect recognisable Ukrainian features and authentic character. The global market offers very little ready-made scenery that authentically captures Ukrainian infrastructure and everyday details, which is why we create these elements ourselves as an integral part of our layouts.

We manufacture all infrastructure elements for our layouts in-house: signals, semaphores, level crossing barriers, under-layout point motors and their feedback decoders, lighting electronics for rolling stock, architectural objects and railway infrastructure, industrial facilities, and much more. Layouts created in the Miniland.UA workshop are not only beautiful and realistic — they function as a coordinated system.

We are committed to developing the modelling community: we organise club meetings around a modular layout, master-classes, support beginners, and share our knowledge online. Miniland.UA is open to partnerships and international cooperation — both in the field of layout and model creation, and in distribution, joint projects, and the exchange of knowledge and experience.
