About

R37

R37 is a premier French manufacturer that has carved out a prestigious niche by focusing on the intricate and diverse heritage of the French National Railways (SNCF). Based in France, the brand operates primarily in the H0 (1:87) scale and is driven by a mission to provide collectors with highly authentic reproductions of "classic" French rail icons that were often underrepresented by larger European firms. R37 is widely respected for its deep historical research, ensuring that every rivet, livery variant, and interior detail matches the specific eras of French rail history, from the post-war steam era to the colorful "Béton" and "En Voyage" liveries of the modern age.

Technically, R37 models are celebrated for their "fine-scale" execution, utilizing a mix of high-quality plastic injection and etched metal components to achieve a delicate, museum-grade aesthetic. Their catalog is particularly strong in passenger and freight rolling stock, featuring highly acclaimed series like the UIC and USI coaches, as well as specialized silo and ballast wagons. In 2026, the brand has reached a new milestone with the successful funding and production of their Super Pacific steam locomotive project, a technical flagship that features advanced digital sound, synchronized smoke, and the heavy, metallic feel that collectors demand. By balancing artisanal passion with modern digital standards, R37 remains the definitive choice for enthusiasts of the French "Art de Vivre" on rails.
