1996

The carriages series 29-22 come from the modernization of the old carriages series 29-20 in 1996 and 1997 by Remar Paşcani. The modernization involved converting the compartment carriages into 2nd class saloon carriages, with anti-vandalism seats made of PAFS. These carriages are intended for short-distance regional trains.

Starting with 2010, C.F.R. Călători permanently took them out of service, with carriages 001, 004, 041, 061 being leased to the private operator Servtrans Invest (home station Roşiori Nord).

These carriages can only be heated with steam.
