1937

Between 1937 and 1950, the first diesel (mechanical) locomotives are built in Romania, at "Malaxa / 23 August" factory in Bucharest.

Technical details:
- two axles
- power: 120 hp (88 Kw)
- maximum speed: 55 km/h

It is mainly used for easy manoeuvring service (and sometimes for towing two axles wagons on secondary lines).

It is registered as Class 95.
