STAB (Swedish Train Power) buys the locomotive from KEG (Karsdorfer Railway Company) where it was registered as KEG 7001.

As it was already converted to run on the 15 kV 16.7 Hz AC catenary system in Germany, the same as the Swedish one, the locomotive was expected to be able to enter into service with minimum modifications.

The recently bought locomotive is being revised at Svensk Tågkraft workshops in Sweden.

After a 5 years stay in Sweden, the locomotive is back in Germany via Rostock seaport on its way back to Romania where it was bought by Vest Trans Rail.
