PIKO BR 119 H0 Premiere at DB Museum Koblenz | New 2026 Model

Join us at the DB Museum Koblenz for the official presentation of PIKO’s new BR 119 electric locomotive in H0 scale. The exclusive rollout event took place on 21 July 2026 among some of the most important original locomotives in German railway history.

This completely new 2026 model recreates DB locomotive 119 001-6 in its Era IV condition. The prototype began life as E 19 01—one of Germany’s fastest and most elegant pre-war electric locomotives—and was redesignated as Class 119 in 1968.

Highlights of the new PIKO model include finely detailed pantographs, separately fitted windscreen wipers, detailed quill drives, digitally switchable cab, control-desk and engine-room lighting, plus optional PIKO TrainSound. The model is offered as:
• 21060 – DC, PluX22 interface
• 21062 – DC with PSD XP decoder and PIKO TrainSound
• 21063 – AC with PSD XP decoder and PIKO TrainSound

The special event also featured a guided museum tour, an autograph session with PIKO CEO Rainer Landwehr inside the historic E19 cab and an exclusive H0 commemorative wagon available only to participants.
