Diesel-electric locomotive 234 304-4, mint green livery

The locomotive HN2657/S is based on the mint green DB diesel locomotive 234 304-4, a unique conversion and color experiment from the early 1990s. Originally converted from the series 232 for fast InterRegio and Intercity services, it was designed for 140 km/h. Later, it received a trial mint turquoise regional train livery, but it was never permanently used in regional traffic. As a result, it remained a one-off and is now considered a special railway historical rarity – also as a model.
