In November 2024, Trenitalia resumed and expanded international connections from Italy to Switzerland and Germany, improving the service in collaboration with SBB. For this purpose, the "Eurocity" brand was introduced with a new appearance.
The deployed ETR 610 received a new design with a predominantly green front, white car body, black window band, and red doors, inspired by the Swiss ETR, but with a green color scheme. Additionally, the interiors were modernized, including new seat covers and color concepts, while maintaining the original layout.
