Reissue of the dark blue WR-S 3814 Gourmino dining car before its
conversion to WR-S 3820 in the two-tone ACPE design. In the
production of the model, Bemo also takes the piano car into
account.
In 1928, the former Bernina Railway put two dining cars into
service. They were coupled with one kitchen car each until the
installation of a kitchen by Mitropa in 1944. Their service in the
"Glacier Express" trains ended in 1987. In 2001, one of the two
dining cars returned from the Furka-Bergstrecke steam railway to
the RhB. As part of the comprehensive renewal, it was converted
back to a dining car and received the blue color scheme of the
"Alpine Classic Pullman Express," matching the salon cars.
