Due to the progressive commissioning of more and more specialized wagons, the demand for two-axle covered goods wagons decreased. Already in 1995 - and increasingly from 1997 - various flat wagons for swap bodies were created from the series Gb 5001-5100. The specialized wagons designated as Lb-v 7851-7886 can be found throughout the entire RhB network from Landquart or Chur: with troughs, conventional containers, postal containers, or refrigerated containers for food transport, such as those for Coop or Migros.
The food chain Volg has renewed its freight wagon fleet used for servicing its Graubünden branches in recent years: the six sliding wall wagons were converted into climate container wagons Sb/Sb-v alongside four other sliding wall wagons, and a new design was introduced; the two containers Y 11601/11602 transported on two-axle flat wagons are still in service at the distribution center in Landquart, but have lost their colorful advertising and are again neutral white.
