Panorama car Aps 1321 "Excellence Class" of the Rhaetian
Railway
RhB and MGB began reorganizing the Glacier Express (GEX) in 2017 due to changing passenger behavior. Highlights of the program include the renovation of the panorama cars, the introduction of the Excellence Class (Aps car class), and a revised train service.
The Aps 1321 and 4046 come from the RhB Bp 2538 and MGB Bp 4068, both featuring updated interiors and significant changes at one end of the car. The two new Aps cars can be recognized from the outside by the yellow stripe.
